NTS-pico3 is an ultra-small, next-generation time server. It delivers highly accurate GNSS time directly to the network using the NTP and PTP / IEEE1588 protocols.

The standard version of the time server works with software time stamping. Hardware time stamping is optionally available and significantly increases the synchronization accuracy.

The device is equipped with a 100 / 10Mbps Ethernet port that works with IPv4 / IPv6.

The server is very small and is cooled by the ambient air. It was developed for small industrial networks and can be operated around the clock. It is operated in the 9-30VDC range. It is equipped with a GNSS antenna and a 30-meter coaxial cable (SMA connection). The marine antenna has an integrated GPS signal amplifier (38 dB gain) and a TCXO holdover oscillator to ensure operation in the event of GNSS signal downtime.

The Ultra Miniature Time Server simultaneously supports multiple satellite systems, GPS and GLONASS or, through an upgrade, GALILEO or BEIDOU. The server has a very short (less than 0.5 ms +/- 1 ppm) TTFF (Time to first Fix) time due to SBAS support. The accuracy of the GNSS receiver is better than 15 ns (at 2 sigma). The time server supports cryptographic NTP authentication. The holdover mode ensures that the synchronization accuracy is better than 4 ms in the first hour. After 24 hours, the maximum holdover error time for the server output is not greater than 100 ms.
